One PDF, pages copied as they are
Drop 2 to 10 PDFs. Each one can be 20 MB, and together they have to stay under 80 MB. The result can hold 200 pages. We copy the pages on the server. Text stays selectable. A scan stays a picture of the page, at the same sharpness.
The list order is the page order. Sort by name when the scans are numbered, take pages 2 to 4 from one file, or rotate a file that came out sideways.
How to merge PDFs
- Drop at least two PDFs. Up to 10 files, 20 MB each, 80 MB together.
- Move a file up or down. Sort by name if that matches the order you want.
- Leave every page in, or open Choose pages and set the first and last. Rotate a sideways file before you merge.
- Merge. Delete the file when you have it. It is deleted within 1 hour.
What this page will not do
Password-protected PDFs are rejected. We do not unlock files.
The download is about as big as the files you added. To shrink it, use Compress PDF.
Photos belong on Images to PDF. This page only accepts PDFs.
Questions
Will I still be able to select the text?
Yes, when the page was real text. A scan stays a picture of the page, at the same sharpness.
Will the file get smaller?
No. It lands near the sum of the files you added. Shrink it afterwards with Compress PDF.
The PDF has a password.
We cannot open it. Remove the password where you created the file.
How many files and pages?
10 PDFs, 20 MB each, 80 MB together, 200 pages in the result. A longer stack has to be merged in parts.
Can I drop the cover page?
Open Choose pages on that file and set the range. The other files can stay on all pages.
What about bookmarks and form fields?
Page content is copied. Bookmarks from the separate files are not stitched into one list. Two form fields with the same name can clash.
How long do you keep the file?
The PDF is deleted within 1 hour, or immediately if you press delete now.
