• Open iPhone HEIC photos on WindowsIf Windows Photos cannot open an iPhone HEIC, check Microsoft's HEIF and HEVC instructions. Convert a JPEG copy when the destination needs that format.
• Visa and government photos: the 50 KB fieldCheck the form's byte limit, dimensions and accepted format. Crop and compress a copy; a 50 KB ceiling does not guarantee photo approval.
• Strip GPS from an iPhone photo before you send itThe share sheet cleans one send, not the library, and compression promises nothing. Read the GPS field, strip it on the server, then check the file.
• Chrome saved a WebP and the form rejects itA URL ending in .jpg can return WebP. Check the downloaded file and convert to JPEG if the destination requires it; compare the resulting size.
