Fill the transparent pixels
A logo PNG on a clear background turns into a black box in some viewers, and a marketplace or a doc usually wants that logo on white. Pick white, black, or a #RRGGBB color.
We paint pixels that are already transparent. The drawing stays. We do not cut a person or a product out of a photo.
How to add a background
- Drop a PNG, WebP, AVIF, or GIF. JPG is refused, because it has no transparency.
- White is the default. Switch to black or type a hex color. The preview sits on that color.
- Keep the format, or save JPG when the form asks for JPEG.
- Process on the server over HTTPS. Download, then delete. Files are deleted within 1 hour.
If nothing looks different
No transparent pixel means the download looks the same. The page says so. The file still comes back with no alpha channel.
A GIF uses the first frame and is saved as PNG, unless you pick JPG. Animated WebP is refused. Up to 10 files, 20 MB each. Above 32 megapixels we shrink before encoding.
Questions
Does this remove the background?
No. Transparent pixels take the color you picked. A photo with no transparency looks the same.
White logo for a listing?
White is the default, which is what most marketplaces and docs expect. Black is one tap.
Why is my PNG black?
Some viewers draw transparency as black. Filling those pixels with white makes the logo readable.
Keep the PNG or make a JPG?
Keep format is the default, and the file comes back with no alpha. Pick JPG for a form, or PNG to JPG when white is enough.
How long do you keep the file?
Original and result are deleted within 1 hour, or immediately from the download screen.
