Turn or flip, with EXIF applied first
Phone photos often look sideways because the pixels sit in sensor order and EXIF says to rotate 90. We write that orientation into the pixels, then apply the turn you pick.
90° left/right, 180°, flip horizontal or vertical. The same turn hits every photo you send; tap another to preview.
How to rotate
- Drop photos and wait for the preview.
- Tap a turn or a flip. Reset if you go too far.
- Process on the server so the pixels are actually rewritten.
- Download and delete when you have the files.
Why 'it looks fine in the browser' is not enough
A viewer can honor EXIF without rewriting pixels. The next form may not. That's why we rewrite them here.
Flip is a mirror, not a 90° turn. Use both if you need them.
Questions
Will it strip EXIF?
Orientation is written into the pixels. Other tags are not the point of this page. Use Remove EXIF for GPS.
Can I rotate by any angle?
Not for now. 90°, 180°, and flips only.
Can I rotate several photos at once?
Same turn on all, up to 10. Preview each.
Can I rotate HEIC?
Decoded, then rotated, and saved as JPEG.
Quality loss?
A 90° turn of a JPEG can be lossless in theory; we still write a clean file on the server.
How large can each file be?
20 MB each. Images above 32 megapixels are reduced before encoding.
